Just a very quick PSA – and apologies in advance to those of you to whom this does NOT pertain:
There are still quite a few of you out there who are subscribed to 1WD via Feedburner, a once-awesome platform for managing blog updates via several channels, including email. For those of you signed up for 1WD updates via email (awesome!) through that service, Google has announced that the Feedburner email subscription service will be going the way of the dinosaur by the end of this month – July, 2021 (not so awesome).
I would LOVE to migrate any of you still on the Feedburner email service automatically, so that you don’t have to be bothered to switch out to this website’s native subscription service – unfortunately, Google isn’t providing any migration tools or assistance, and there are just too many of you out there for me to do this manually without my email providers flagging me as a spammer, and without me probably losing what’s left of my already-questionable mind.
To help sweeten the swallow of this particular pill, if you send me a note by the end of July 2021 after re-subscribing, you’ll be entered into a chance to win a signed, personalized copy of one of my recent books! Re-subscribing should only take you about 2-3 minutes, so hopefully this unfortunately necessary step isn’t too painful (heck, you could do it on your cellphone between sips!). Anyway, hope to (still) see you in an Inbox near you after July 31st!
