Have you ever wanted to tour Tuscan wineries, visit cultural sites, all while staying in 4-star hotels? Well, who hasn’t right? But this spring, you can have the chance to do all of this–with me!

I have organized two consecutive one-week tours. The groups are small but some spots have recently become available (4 on the first week and 2 on the second week). So if it works with your schedule, it would be great to see some readers of my (erstwhile?) blog on the trip! Here are the details:

Week 1 we will be in the Brunello area, with a visit to the charming town of Montepulciano. We will stay at a swanky winery that has an infinity pool overlooking the hills. Then we will shift to at a winery with rooms sprinkled throughout a borgo (a tiny town) to explore the Chianti Classico area and Siena. We will visit Le Potazzine, DEI, Monteraponi among others. The dates are April 17-23. Click here for full details and to book a spot.

Week 2 we will head to the Tuscan coast. We will be staying at a relais a couple of miles from the Mediterranean while we visit producers in Bolgheri, Suvereto and the Maremma. Then we will head to Lucca, wining and dining and staying inside the city’s famous walls and using it as a base to explore the areas to the north. Wineries this week include Grattamacco, Montepeloso, Ampelaia, and Terenzuola. The dates are April 23-29. Click here for full details and to book a spot.

I have teamed with Rainer Metzger, an American guide who has led over 100 trips to Italy. We are aiming for a balance of one winery a day as well as one cultural visit a day, with plenty of free time. We are lining up some excellent and fun meals too.

It is fairly short notice but maybe you are free? I am considering leading another, similar trip to the region in the fall. Let me know if you are interested in that. As always, you can reach me at tyler at drvino dot com.
